LPCB exhibits at The Security & Fire Event 2026

LPCB exhibits at The Security & Fire Event 2026

We were once again very pleased to exhibit at The Security Event and The Fire Safety Event from 28–30 April at the NEC Birmingham.

Over three productive days, our teams engaged with manufacturers, distributors, installers, integrators, consultants and end users from across the fire safety and security sectors. Conversations focused on the role of independent testing, inspection and certification as we continue to support product performance and reliability.

Engaging across fire and security sectors

At the Fire Safety Event discussions centred on passive fire protection and suppression systems. This included engagement with door manufacturers around fire-resistance testing, where there remains an opportunity to increase awareness of available testing capabilities and how performance can be clearly demonstrated.

There was also strong conversational interest on how certification supports compliance and confidence in the system performance of gas, water and hybrid solutions.

Meanwhile, at The Security Event, our teams were engaging with manufacturers and stakeholders across physical security and alarm signalling. Conversations focused on standards such as LPS 1175 and LPS 1673, and the role of certification in demonstrating resistance to forced entry, system reliability and ongoing performance.

Live Testing Lab demonstrations

The LPCB Live Testing Lab once again proved a key attraction. Featuring a series of live sessions, where our forced entry specialists demonstrated how products such as security doorsets, fencing, windows and locking systems perform under simulated attack conditions.

Using tools aligned with LPCB standards, the demonstrations showed how products resist forced entry; giving visitors the opportunity to see physical security products put to the test under real-world conditions.

This provided an opportunity to share practical insight with hundreds of engaged delegates from across critical infrastructure sectors.

The Live Testing Lab would not be possible without the support of our partners, and we are grateful to the manufacturers who provided products for inclusion, including Alexandra Security, Barkers Security Engineering, CLD Physical Security Systems, Frontier Pitts, Henry Squire and Sons, Metador, Modular Security Solutions, Securiclad, Stafford Bridge Doors, Strongdor, Sunray Engineering, and Tindall Engineering.

Recognising certified manufacturers

It is always a pleasure to present manufacturers with their LPCB certification, and both The Security Event and The Fire Safety Event provided the opportunity to do so in person.

A number of manufacturers received new certifications including Warrior Doors Limited, Ceasefire and Stafford Bridge, recognising their achievement in meeting our rigorous Loss Prevention Standards across fire and security applications.

Strengthening industry connections

The event also provided an opportunity to reconnect with existing partners and meet new organisations from across the UK and international markets.

For LPCB, this expo visibility is an important part of supporting the industry - creating space for new and existing client conversations and sharing our expertise to improve understanding of testing and certification processes.

Thank you to everyone who visited our stands and the LPCB Live Testing Lab.
