How do I log in using the SSO?

To log in to any of the BRE applications that use Customer SSO, simply go to the login page of the application you’re trying to access. Click on the login option and enter your details to continue. Alternatively, you can create a new account if you do not have one already. You will be asked to provide an email address and to verify it by providing a verification code that will be emailed to you.

How does SSO work?

SSO works by allowing the user to log in once, and remembering that session so that it can be recognised by other connected applications. This means users can navigate between different BRE applications without having to log in again, as long as they are already authenticated through Customer SSO.

What happens if I forget my password?

If you forget your password, don’t worry! You can click on the "Forgotten Password" option on the login page. Clicking this link will prompt you to enter your email address to receive further instructions on how to reset your password.

What happens if I log out?

If you log out of a BRE application then you will need to log back in to access this application or any other BRE application.

What if I do not have an account?

You can create your own account by clicking on the Create Account link on the login page. You will be asked to provide an email address and to verify it by providing a verification code that will be emailed to you. If the Create Account link is not displayed then the BRE application you are accessing may require an Adminstrator to create your account. You can contact the BRE support team via the Contact Us page for further assistance.

What is Single Sign-On (SSO)?

Single Sign-On (SSO) is an authentication process that allows a user to access multiple applications or services with one set of login credentials (username and password). In the context of BRE’s Customer SSO, this means users don’t have to remember multiple passwords for different BRE applications, making it easier and more secure to access the resources they need.

Who should I contact if I have issues?

If you experience any issues accessing any of the BRE applications, or have any questions, please reach out to the BRE support team through the Contact Us page.

Why do I have to log in every time I access an application?

You can instruct SSO to remember you by checking the ‘Keep me signed in’ box. If you do that, then you will not need to enter your login credentials next time you access a BRE application, as long as you log in again within 30 days.

What happens if I forget my password?

The verification code step is a form of Multi-factor authentication (MFA) which is important as it provides an additional layer of security to make your account more secure and prevent unauthorised access. Customer SSO uses email as the MFA method which means a verification code is emailed to you.
