In the latest episode of the BREEAM podcast, Daikin, a leading provider of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) solutions discuss how they worked with BRE Academy, BRE’s training arm, to deliver BREEAM training to its sales teams - and the benefits it’s brought to their business.

Polly Wilkinson, Head of BRE Academy at BRE welcomed Steve Molloy, Sustainability Manager at Daikin UK and James Krantz, Senior Consulting Sales Engineer, Daikin Europe N.V to the BREEAM podcast for a conversation about the value of professional training, the issues that Daikin and its customers are facing in relation to climate change and the trends they see on the horizon.

The training from BRE allows us to go one step further. So, our clients have other clients: asset owners, building owners. Building owners have their own vocabulary, their own standards, their own framework to work under. And we know at Daikin that our salespeople will also be able to understand not only our customers’ needs, but their customers’ as well.
– James Krantz, Senior Consulting Sales Engineer, Daikin Europe N.V.

Daikin worked with BRE Academy to deliver BREEAM training enabling their consulting sales engineers and product development teams to effectively support their clients in residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. This initiative added substantial value to their services and bolstered their client relationships.

The BREEAM podcast is for built environment professionals and stakeholders. It tells the stories behind pioneering projects, discusses the sustainability issues facing the industry and hears from experts about trends, solutions and successes.
