Scanned copy of the original report (now out of print) describing the defects and deterioration found when five dwellings at three sites were inspected by BRE. Subsequently a further 14 were examined. This is a small sample out of approximately 5500 Woolaway dwellings; nevertheless experience suggests that problems identified in the sample buildings may occur in other Woolaway dwellings. Some possibilities for repair or remedial work are outlined.
Includes as Appendix A - Aid to identification: Woolaway houses (BRE Occasional Paper OP14).
Alternative names for this system: Western, Woolaways.
