Failures: Collapse of ceiling; loss of strength of chipboard floors; damage to wiring, decorations, furnishings, etc. Water damage and staining to outside wall. 

Defects: Warning pipe of inadequate bore, sagging or with insufficient slope, not protected against freezing. Pipes positioned over doors, windows, balanced flue terminal outlets or where accidental damage is likely. Pipes not vandal resistant. Pipes not suitable for boiling water discharge.

DAS141 replaces DAS61 - Cold water storage cisterns: overflow pipes.
