Anti-carbonation coatings are surface treatments that have a high resistance to carbon dioxide, and protect concrete from carbonation by acting as a carbon dioxide barrier. As there were insufficient data on the long-term durability of these coatings, natural and artificial weathering programmes were set up at BRE. This paper summarises those data and the findings of the programme. 6 pages.
