It was first published in 1965 and was subject to minor revisions in 1972. This is the 1978 reprint.
Digest 63 deals with the movements resulting from interactions between soils and foundations.
Foundation design is discussed in Digest 67.
Digests 240 and 241 provide supplementary information with a focus on clay soils.
