Most wood adhesives are based on the resins of urea, melamine, phenol or resorcinol, or polyvinyl acetate emulsions. This publication provides advice on the selection and specification of adhesives for use with solid woods (it does not cover wood-based panel products).
This Digest replaces Digests 175 and 209.
