Digest 29 is a continuation of Digest no. 28, which described the manufacture and properties of aerated concretes. Here some of the uses of aerated concrete are considered. It is advisable to wait until it is as dry as possible before applying render or plaster; in Sweden it is the general practice to wait as much as two or three months and this precaution helps to prevent cracking.
