This leaflet deals with a new method of making bent parts in solid wood. By using a precompression process the need for a supporting strap is eliminated. Bends with a moderate radius of curvature can be obtained in specimens of circular cross-section or of complicated machined pattern which up to now have been difficult and costly to produce.
