This Digest lists the items that require consideration if the architect is to estimate the overall capital costs of a particular heating installation. Tables 1 and 2 give the estimated costs of individual items such as chimneys, radiators, stoves, gas and electrical appliances, and the total costs for various types of system for two storey houses.
