Coronavirus (COVID-19)
Our priority is to protect the health and wellbeing of our employees and customers. We are following and monitoring official guidance from the UK Government and Public Health England with regards to COVID-19 and in light of this we have taken the decision to reduce access to the BRE Watford Innovation Park. We politely request that if you do need to visit you adhere to the following:
- Do not come if you are feeling unwell in any way, including coughs and fevers. Please follow the government advice on self-isolation.
- Do not travel to our site using public transport.
- Maintain high levels of hygiene as are being advised; washing hands regularly for 20 seconds with soap and water and using tissues to catch coughs and sneezes.
- Maintain social distancing (2m separation).

Why have an Innovation Park?
The BRE Innovation Park Network has been established to inform sustainable development at a global level and stimulate innovation within the built environment. With Parks established within the UK and China, and further facilities being developed in Brazil and Canada, the Innovation Park Network is unique in its approach, its global reach, its independence and its impact.
What does it do?
The Innovation Parks feature full-scale demonstration buildings that have been developed by industry partners. These buildings display innovative design, materials and technologies which combine to address the development challenges facing regions across the world.
What goes on?
Technology demonstration, research, testing, training and dissemination are key activities which underpin the operation and development of the Innovation Park Network. BRE works closely with a large number of partners from the academia, public and private sectors to shape out activities and ensure that these have a positive impact on the development community.
The BRE Innovation Park network allows organisations to demonstrate, research and test products, innovations and building systems in an independent environment.
