The BREEAM In-use standard provides a framework to enable property investors, owners, managers and occupiers to make sustainable improvements to their assets. This standard helps to improve the performance of buildings that are already in use, with support for benchmarking, assurance and validation of operational asset data.

The BREEAM In-Use standard can be used to assess and benchmark the sustainability of all operational asset types. Each standard uses a common framework, allowing for international consistency and comparability.
