TimberTech’s composite material is made from a variety of cellulose materials and polythene. These materials would otherwise be hard to recycle but through the manufacturing process all contaminants are removed, so the decking can be fully recycled at the end of life.
How does it work?
TimberTech’s composite material is made from a variety of cellulose materials and polythene. The material is formed into planks which have been used to form decking at the Innovation Park.
- Durable and hardwearing – maintaining colour without repainting
- Resistant to mildew, insects and rotting
- High recycled content
TimberTech have provided their composite decking boards for the bridges across the swales at the playground and for a deck projecting over the attenuation pond.
