Property Flood Resilience Event
Frequent and damaging flood events across the UK persist, leading to increasing risk to property owners. Consistent and effective approaches to property flood resilience (PFR) continues to be of upmost importance for property owners and insurers. BRE created the ‘Flood Resilient Home’ in 2016 to demonstrate repeatable adaptations to increase property resilience. What has changed since then, if anything? BRE, with partners, is leading the development of a Code of Practice for Property Flood Resilience which will undoubtedly provide opportunities for greater consistency in the application of PFR measures. Is this enough? Or do we need more innovation within this sector?
BRE are pleased to invite you to an event on 13 February 2019 to explore these issues and those pertinent to the PFR industry. Please note this date in your diary and register your interest. More details of the event will follow early in 2019.
