    Circular economy in the built environment open day

    Details

    BRE are hosting a half day event dedicated to circular economy at our headquarters in Watford. A key focus will be tours of the interactive Reversible Experience Module which will be at BRE for two weeks before returning to the Netherlands. Alongside visits to BRE’s innovation park (https://bregroup.com/ipark/parks/england/) and Environmental Building will be a seminar programme featuring key elements of the Building As Materials Bank project (BAMB). Presentations will cover Material Passports, Circularity Indicators, Building information modelling and circular economy, setting client requirements and much more. The event will also showcase remanufactured office furniture from Premier Sustain.

    BAMB has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 642384

                                                                                                                              

    Event programme

    Starting at 10.00 and finishing at 13.00.

    The programme will include speakers from BRE, Loughborough University, Premier Sustain and EPEA Netherlands.

    Intended audience

    Anyone interested in circular economy in the built environment. This event will provide inspiration to product manufacturers, designers, building developers and owners.
