BIM provides control to clients - making sure you get the most from your project and end up getting the built asset that meets your needs. This course is aimed specifically at anyone who is procuring a new built asset or refurbishing an existing one, whether it be a building, housing development or infrastructure.
As the client of a construction project (known as the "employer"), you will have roles and responsibilities in the BIM process.
At the end of this course you will be able to understand and implement:

- Organisation, Asset, & Project Information Requirements
- Commercial and Procurement considerations of Employers Information Requirements (EIRs)
- BIM Execution Plan Assessment & Contract Award
- Review and Authorisation of the Common Data Environment (CDE) Information

Prior to attending this course it is advised that you read through the government document PAS 1192-2, which is provided for your reference when booking onto this course. You will also be supplied with other reading materials that will be of benefit to you when implementing BIM as a client.
