The Forth Replacement Crossing (FRC) is the project behind the Queensferry Crossing, the new road bridge connecting both sides of the Firth of Forth. By adding to the Forth Bridge and the Forth Road Bridge, Transport Scotland has safeguarded one of the most vital connections in Scotland’s transport network. The Queensferry Crossing opened to traffic on 30 August 2017.
E16 Bagn–Bjørgo is an 11.1 km stretch of the main road between Norway’s capitol Oslo and the second largest city, Bergen. The project will significantly improve the safety of travellers compared to driving conditions on the old road.
The project achieved a CEEQUAL Excellent rating. CEEQUAL enabled more discussions in the project group about sustainability which lead to a better understanding and a higher level of knowledge within the project.
The client’s drivers were primarily to use Ceequal as a tool to constantly improve the environmental and sustainability work and to increase its sustainability standard between each contract.
